09.(b) Literacy Program Description

Priority Standards- A team of grade-level representatives meets annually to examine priority standards and has worked on creating benchmarks for those standards. Assessments- Grade level and departments develop common assessments based on their priority standards. Our district progress monitors student progress in literacy through Aimsweb. Other assessments used for diagnostic and progress monitoring include: Star Enterprise,iReady, and Lexia.

09.(c) Math Program Description

Priority Standards- A team of grade-level representatives meets annually to examine priority standards and will continue an ongoing process of creating benchmarks for those standards. Assessments- Grade level and departments develop common assessments based on their priority standards. Teacher teams are supported in effective mathematical practice through ongoing professional development, the PLC process, and the district curriculum website.
