Lincoln County School District #2 has five elementary schools. There are four elementary schools in Star Valley. There is also a K-6 elementary school in Cokeville. Middle school and high school students in Star Valley attend school in Afton. Star Valley Middle School houses students in grades 7 and 8. Star Valley High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Swift Creek High School is a high school located in Afton that offers classes for the non-traditional student. Cokeville High School, located in Cokeville, is a combination junior high/ high school that serves students in grades 7 through 12.
